Hima Das’s victory win continues
In her first competitive 200 meter race of the year on July 2nd, 2019, Hima clocked 23.65 second on her way to gold in the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix. After that she won at the Kutno athletics meet clocking 23.97 seconds on July 8, 2019 in Poland.

On July 13, 2019 braving a sore back, the ace printer from Assam clocked 23.97 seconds to win the gold.
Mentioning about her win on her twitter handle, Hima wrote, “Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.”
Starting off with the year on a poor note, Hima Das faced lot of backlash for her poor performance at the national events tarnishing her reputation. Her continuous win at international events has once again brought back her old glory on her winning note.
