Digital Desk: 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar, made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 19 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium, becoming the youngest-ever player to play in the IPL history. The left-handed batsman took on LSG's Shardul Thakur for a six off the first ball of his IPL career, marking his arrival in the tournament.
Vaibhav went on to hit a six and a four off Avesh Khan's next over. He eventually produced an outstanding inning by scoring 34 off 20 balls against LSG, with remarkable display of skill and determination.

The youngest IPL debutant made his first-class debut at just 12 years and 284 days. Born on March 27, 2011, in Bihar's Samastipur, Vaibhav scored a 58-ball century against the Australia U19 team.
Vaibhav has also joined an elite list of players who hit sixes on their first IPL ball. The elite list includes Rajasthan Royals' Rob Quiney and Kevon Cooper, Kolkata Knight Riders' Andre Russell and Javon Searles, Delhi Daredevils' Carlos Brathwaite, Royal Challengers Bangaluru's Aniket Choudhary, Chennai Super Kings' Maheesh Theekshana and Sameer Rizvi, and Mumbai Indians' Siddhesh Lad.
