    Maqsooma can be heard in the video claiming she idolizes and aspires to be like Virat Kohli.

    Digital Desk: More than a billion people around the world look up to star Indian batter Virat Kohli. And on Saturday (October 15), it was once more highlighted as we watched a young girl from Ladakh, India, become extremely popular online as a result of her amazing batting abilities. 

    The Ladakh-based Directorate of School Education (DSE) uploaded a video of class six student Maqsooma making some outstanding cricket shots at a nearby field. 

    DSE Ladakh's tweet has the following caption: "I'm encouraged to play cricket by both my father at home and my teacher at school. I'll give it my utmost to play like class six #HSKaksar student @imVkohli." Maqsooma can be heard in the video claiming that she idolises Virat Kohli and aspires to be just like him.

    "I've been playing since I was a child. I'm still learning to play, particularly 'Helicopter Shot.' We are fatigued after the second run and do not feel like jogging again. Virat Kohli is my favourite cricketer, and I aspire to be like him "She stated.

    The tweet has received over 1.25 lakh views on Twitter, showing Virat's popularity and effect. Virat is now in Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022. Her batting abilities have astounded her countrymen. According to one Twitter user: "Super!! Maqsooma will be playing at the national and international levels in a few years!! ". "She is playing like @ABdeVilliers17," said another.

    Kohli has not yet responded to the video, but being a frequent internet user, he is likely to do so. The former India captain is now practising for the T20 World Cup in Australia in 2022. 

    The Indian squad will play their first warm-up against Australia on October 17, followed by a second warm-up against New Zealand on October 19. Both games will be held in Brisbane.

    On October 23 (Sunday), India will face arch-rival Pakistan in their first World Cup match at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
