Pakistani and Afghan fans engage in a large brawl after the Asia Cup game
The incident occurred following Pakistan's Super 4 victory against Afghanistan on Wednesday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Digital Desk: After what transpired in the last over of Pakistan's game against Afghanistan at the Sharjah stadium on Wednesday, a brawl broke out in the stands between fans of the two countries, which got exceedingly ugly as chairs and bottles were thrown. Things got out of hand for security and even they couldn't keep it under control. It is unknown whether any fans were hurt in the terrifying occurrence.

The Afghan fans allegedly began causing damage to the Cricket Stadium. Afghan fans apparently lost control of their emotions and reacted by striking Pakistani fans in the stadium. People were divided in their support for the sides soon after the recordings of the skirmishes went viral on social media.

Hamza Azhar Salam, a Pakistani journalist, questioned whether Sharjah Police will identify the Afghan fans who "beat" the Pakistani fans. "Can @ShjPolice identify the Afghan fans violently hitting Pakistani fans on Sharjah's streets?" Salam shared a video of the fight.

Afghanistan had nearly destroyed Pakistan on the field, bringing them to their knees after discarding nine wickets. Pakistan needed 11 runs in the last over but only had one wicket. Afghanistan was unquestionably the favourite.

However, Naseem Shah delivered two crushing blows to spoil Afghanistan's hopes and their drive in the present Asia Cup.
