PV Sindhu beat Chinese opponent Han Yue in the quarterfinals of the women's singles competition, moving on to the semi-finals of the Singapore Open.
Digital Desk: PV Sindhu advanced to the semi-finals of the Women's Singles event at the Singapore Open 2022 on Friday after defeating China's Han Yue by a score of 17-21, 21-11, and 21-19.
When Han Yue's strokes landed in the net, Sindhu was eliminated from the game. On the other hand, Sindhu made a comeback after going a game down, as her smashing skill was witnessed, and Han Yue surrendered under strain.
Sindhu will face either Shaena Kawakami or Pornpawee Chochuwong in the semi-finals of the Singapore Open 2022 Women's Singles tournament on July 16, 2022.
