Digital Desk: Elon Musk's neurotechnology startup, Neuralink, which creates implantable brain-computer interfaces, has completed its Neuralink brain chip. Musk made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday. The new Twitter CEO and Tesla CEO stated that the Neuralink brain chip is complete and that he is really optimistic about the device. Musk was so convinced that he would be willing to implant the brain chip in himself.

"We are now sure that the Neuralink device is ready for people," Musk tweeted as he announced the brain chip. The Neuralink brain chip is believed to allow the blind to see their surroundings and the paralysed to walk or move through their thoughts.

Musk feels confident enough in the Neuralink brain chip to feel at ease having one of his children's brains implanted with it. He stated that he would feel at ease implanting a brain chip created by Neuralink into one of his children during a recent interview conducted at Neuralink's headquarters. We've reached a situation where, at the very least, in my judgement, it wouldn't be unsafe, he declared.

The billionaire predicted that human trials would start within the following six months. Since Neuralink has already failed to test the chips on humans, we will have to wait and watch how the trials go.

Musk claimed that when the device is ready, he can implant the brain chip himself since he is confident in the technology. "You might not even be aware that you have a Neuralink implanted. In other words, hypothetically, "I will work in one of these demos, in fact," he stated.
