The Poco X4 series made its debut earlier this year with the introduction of the Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 Pro 5G variants as the replacement for the Poco X3 series. The Poco X5 5G will be the series' initial model, according to the most recent certification website database's reported referencing, which suggests that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has already started working on the successor to the Poco X5 series.

    According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Poco X5 5G has been spotted on the websites for the BIS and FCC certification databases under the model codes 22101320I and 22101320G, respectively. The FCC discovery has also appeared to imply some details about the Poco X5 5G model's connectivity, design, software, and battery. The 33101320I handset, which is rumoured to be the Indian version of the Poco X5 5G smartphone, has not yet been given any specifications by the BIS, according to the citing.

    Dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity may be supported on the Poco X5 5G model smartphone in addition to 6 bands of 5G connectivity in the n5, n7, n38, n41, n77, and n78 bands. The rumour also suggests that the smartphone will have a 4900mAh battery backup, which might be marketed as a 5000mAh smartphone.
    According to other Poco X5 5G smartphone rumours, the forthcoming device may include an IPS LCD panel display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone may also have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, according to rumours.
