Digital Desk: The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter will now cost Rs 10,000 more than earlier in the Indian market after a price hike announced by electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric on Saturday.
Now, the new price of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter is Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
Notably, the Ola S1 Pro has launched for Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in the year 2021 and the two-wheeler received a price hike for the first time.
The EV manufacturer’s buying window will remain open on the weekend. Furthermore, test ride camps have already begun in five cities around the country.
The ARAI claims that the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter can travel 185 kilometers in ideal conditions and 131 kilometers in real-world settings. The company claimed that it has a top speed of 115 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds. The Ola S1 Pro is powered by a 3.97 kWh battery that takes 6.30 hours to charge fully.
It may be mentioned that the electric scooter comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, a digital speedometer, remote push start/stop button, 36-liter storage capacity and anti-theft alarm. The tires are shod with 12-inch aluminum-alloy wheels for better stability.
