Whatsapp unlocks a new feature called Whatsapp Poll; Know how to use WhatsApp Polls

Digital Desk: WhatsApp's additional features and changes, which have been rolling out over the last few months, have significantly improved the messaging experience.

Users of WhatsApp may now create polls in personal and group chats to find out what their friends and contacts think. This feature is available to both iOS and Android users. A poll could be used to get group members' opinions on any issue or concept, or it could be used to quickly make plans.

The responses you provide to poll questions, like your chats, will be safeguarded by end-to-end encryption. Telegram and Facebook Messenger currently support group polling. This new WhatsApp feature is simple to use on your smartphone.

Follow these steps to make a WhatsApp Poll:

Step 1: Update WhatsApp to the most recent version.

Step 2: Go to the private or group chat where you wish to create a poll.

Step 3: On Android, tap the paper clip icon at the bottom of the screen. On iOS, tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen.

    Step 4: Click 'Poll.'

Step 5: Type the question you wish to ask, along with response alternatives.

Step 6: Finally, click 'Send' to share the poll.

For each poll, recipients can be given up to twelve response options, which are not time-limited. Users can also see the responses chosen by others by clicking 'View votes.'

The Meta-owned messaging app has just received multiple improvements, including the addition of new features such as the Call Link feature, the option to message oneself, and Companion Mode.

While some of these new capabilities are not yet available to all users, WhatsApp intends to make them available to all users in the coming days. Apart from WhatsApp polls, the most current and talked-about feature is Communities. These enable users to arrange huge chats by having separate groups under one "Community."

"With Communities, we hope to raise the bar for how businesses interact by providing unprecedented levels of privacy and security." Alternatives available today involve users to trust apps or software firms with a copy of their conversations - and we believe they deserve the higher degree of security provided by end-to-end encryption," WhatsApp claimed in a blog post.
