UAE to resume granting visas to fully vaccinated tourists

New Delhi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) stated it would continue assigning visas to all fully vaccinated visitors from Monday (August 30), a month earlier, to host Dubai Expo 2020 trade fair.

According to UAE travel terms and conditions, tourists must be vaccinated with one of the Covid-19 vaccine shots approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Additionally, the tourists are also required to register their vaccination status on the government’s health app.

Those suitable would have to be fully vaccinated with one of the Covid-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization, including AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac.

Official WAM news agency stated that the UAE’s settlement to resume its gates to visitors from all nations was held in order “to produce sustainable improvement and economic growth”.

“The declaration pertains to residents of all nations, including those coming from earlier prevented nations,” WAM stated.

Remark that all visitors must undertake a PCR test upon landing in the nation and on the 9th day after entering the UAE.
