Digital Desk: Yesterday was Valentine's Day, and most couples spent quality time together and prepared surprises for their spouses. A couple, on the other hand, celebrated Valentine's Day in a unique way by breaking the world record for the longest underwater kiss.

South African Beth Neale and Canadian Miles Cloutier kissed for four minutes and six seconds to set the Guinness World Record for the longest underwater kiss.

Guinness World Records posted a video of the attempt on their Instagram account.

"Their make-out session blew through the previous record of 3 minutes 24 seconds, which was set 13 years ago on the Guinness World Records TV show Lo Show Dei Record in Italy," it went on to say.

Another wrote, "So 1/6th the length of the longest breath held. I guess it is really hard."
