The public servant described on X (formerly Twitter) how he had lived in a one-room thatched house with seven other people and how education, determination, and hard work helped him succeed in life.
"I lived in this single-room thatched house (coconut leaf roof then) with my Parents & 4 Siblings till I was 30 years old. Blessed to reach today's position through Education, Dedication & Hard Work," Mr Nellayappan wrote while sharing a picture of his thatched house and his bungalow.

Since being shared, Mr. Nellayappan's post has received over 12,000 likes and more than 640 views. Many people commented on the post on social media.
