Raksha Bandhan: Popular online tutor Khan Sir claims world record, 7,000 students tie him rakhi
The students in the present praised Khan Sir as the world's greatest teacher, guru, and brother.

Digital Desk: A well-known online educator from Patna named Khan Sir got around 7,000 rakhis tied on his wrist by students on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Over 10,000 students from various batches attended the Raksha Bandhan celebration that the well-known teacher hosted at his coaching facility. Around 7,000 girls tied rakhis on his wrist during the occasion. Since this has never happened before, he says it is a world record.

Despite the large number of students that attended, not everyone was able to tie a rakhi due to the overwhelming crowd.

Khan Sir made sure that he tied the rakhi and personally met each of the girls. About two and a half hours passed throughout the event.

Khan Sir admitted to AajTak in an exclusive interview that he doesn't have a sister of his own, so he decided to treat all of these girls as his sisters. According to him, his students tie him rakhis every year. He asserted with assurance that no one else in the world would have tied as many rakhis.

Khan Sir revealed that these women come from all backgrounds and leave their families behind to attend his coaching centre. He took on the role of a brother for them, making sure they don't miss their families. Through education, he hopes to assist his "sisters" in finding success and fulfilling careers. Khan Sir had more than 5,000 rakhis on his wrist by the end of the ceremony and expected the number to rise to 7,000 by the end of the day. He had difficulty moving his hand since his wrist was so heavy with rakhis.

The students in the present praised Khan Sir as the world's greatest teacher, guru, and brother. There is no better brother, they said, than him. Some kids went so far as to say that they would like to go through their entire lives tying rakhis to Khan Sir.
