Man Loses Weight By Eating Pizza Thrice A Day During 30-Day Challenge

Digital Desk: Pizza is unquestionably one of the most popular Italian foods. A crunchy crust, melted cheese, and flavorful toppings combine to provide a winning mix that appeals to many people's taste buds. As much as we love pizza, it is not the best option for someone who is trying to lose weight. Pizza is heavy in calories, fat, and sodium, all of which can elevate cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease. But, have you ever heard of somebody losing weight by eating pizza? Yes, you heard us correctly. During a 30-day challenge, a man from Northern Ireland lost weight by eating pizza three times a day.

During a 30-day challenge, a personal trainer called Ryan Mercer ate 10 slices of pizza per day, divided between breakfast, lunch, and dinner, according to Ladbible. He ended up growing more muscles rather than bags of fat. Mercer opted to forego everything except pizza for the challenge. He quit eating junk food and fast food takeaways to demonstrate the importance of calorie deficit and wellness.

He goes on to explain how his major goal was to emphasize fat loss while not reducing our favourite foods. "I wanted to emphasize that fat loss isn't just about calories in and calories out, but it's also not about restriction." "We don't have to limit our favourite foods to achieve results, and I also wanted to inspire more people to create their food," Mercer remarked.

According to Mercer, his regular diet includes 7-10 servings of fruits and vegetables as well as enough protein. But in January, he ate pizza three times a day for 30 days. "Pizza is one of my all-time favourite foods, so I ate it all month, but I made sure to have a wide array of different pizzas to give myself some variation." "I had two pita pizzas and one larger dough-based pizza per day, which amounted to about 10 pieces per day," he explained.

He goes on to say that his daily calorie intake was set at 1,800 to 2,100 calories Monday through Friday and 2,700k calories on Saturday and Sunday. Mercer's daily protein intake goal was 140g, and his daily fruit and vegetable portion goal were seven servings.

His weight-loss path, as appealing as it seems, may not be ideal for everyone. He stated that everyone is different and that one should only follow a diet if their body enables them to.
