Meet Aitana Lopez, AI model from Spain with monthly earnings of nearly Rs 3 lakh
Cruz claims that although Aitana's average monthly income is closer to 3,000 euros, the virtual influencer may earn as much as 10,000 euros per month.

Digital Desk: Concerns regarding the possible effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on employment markets have been raised by major figures such as Elon Musk. Musk brought up the imminent prospect of AI making occupations obsolete to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the recent AI Safety Summit in London. This worry appears to be coming true, as an influencer firm in Spain created an AI model called Aitana Lopez. The model is modelled after a 25-year-old lady with pink hair who has 122,000 Instagram followers.

According to Euronews, Aitana is even sent private messages by celebrities, and The Clueless agency uses her for business partnerships.

Designer Ruben Cruz of the agency explained, saying, "We noticed several projects getting delayed or scrapped due to issues caused by the models or influencers rather than design problems."

Cruz claims that although Aitana's average monthly income is closer to 3,000 euros, the virtual influencer may make as much as 10,000 euros per month.

"We created this to secure a better income and not rely on individuals with egos, quirks, or solely profit-driven motives," Cruz said.

In addition to sharing material on Fanvue, a website similar to OnlyFans, Aitana has emerged as the face of Big, a sports supplement firm.

Cruz related a story about how an important Latin American actor made a blind date request for Aitana.

Every week, Aitana's team gets together to plan her online activities, destinations, and photos to share. Photoshop is used to perform a combination of AI and design ideas; there are no actual photoshoots or outfit changes.

Aitana's popularity inspired the development of Maia, a second virtual model who is characterised as "a little more reserved." The abbreviation for artificial intelligence (AI) is purposefully present in both names.

The narrative of Aitana and Maia highlights how technology, creativity, and the influencer market are all changing at the same time, and this is changing how marketers interact with consumers by using AI-generated personas.
