Hailing from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, this remarkable family boasts not one, not two, but four siblings who have triumphed in the highly competitive UPSC exams, earning the prestigious titles of IAS and IPS officers.


    The journey commenced in 2013 when Yogesh Mishra set the wheels in motion by cracking the UPSC exam, securing his place as an IAS officer. Following in his footsteps, his sister Madhavi Mishra achieved the same feat in 2015. The eldest of the siblings, Kshama Mishra, persevered through four attempts to clinch the IPS officer designation in 2016. The youngest of the clan, Lokesh Mishra, achieved his goal of becoming an IAS officer.


    Presently, Kshama Mishra is serving as the Commandant of the State Police Line in Bangalore, while IAS officer Yogesh Mishra holds a position with the Ordnance Factory. Madhavi Mishra is the Deputy Commissioner in the Jharkhand district of Ramgarh, and Lokesh Mishra serves as the Deputy Collector and Controller in the Jharkhand district of Koderma.

    Lokesh Mishra's academic journey is equally impressive, having completed an engineering degree from the prestigious IIT Delhi. He shares a common thread with Yogesh, as both chose sociology as an elective during their studies. Kshama Mishra, the youngest among the siblings, secured the 172nd All India Rank (AIR) in 2015, earning her the coveted title of an IPS officer.


    The achievement of all four siblings ascending to the ranks of IAS and IPS officers within three years is nothing short of extraordinary, representing one of the most esteemed accomplishments in India. Their success serves as an exemplar for countless aspiring civil servants across the nation.
