The collection is "more condensed and concentrated, more grown up, lively and robust, and playful," according to Martens.
Digital Desk: At a runway event at Milan Fashion Week on Wednesday, models walked around a massive mountain of two lakh condom boxes.
Krzysztof J Lukasik created the mountain set to promote safe sex and Diesel's upcoming capsule collection with Durex.
"A very big D. As part of a collaboration with @durex, the #DieselFW23 runway show set showed a mountain of 200,000 condom boxes. In the spirit of individual freedom, enjoyment, and sex positivity, 300,000 Durex condoms will be distributed for free at Diesel stores worldwide in April "Diesel stated this on Instagram.
"We enjoy playing at Diesel and take it seriously. Have fun, respect one another, and be safe "Alan Martens, creative director, stated in a statement.
The collection is "more condensed and concentrated, more grown up, lively and robust, and playful," according to Martens.
"There are four pillars of Diesel - denim, utility, pop, and artisanal - and we drive experimentation with each of them," he added.
Milan Fashion Week started on February 21 and will end on February 27.
Pictures of the condom box mountain have gone viral on social media.
One user said, "I loveeeeee this." Another wrote, "As long as they aren’t donated to people and facilities in need, the waste is terrifying." Yet another user added, "Y'all gonna donate those to clinics that need them?"
