Digital Desk: A Chinese tech company has invented a device that allows people to send "kisses" to his/her significant others over long distances.
In other words, it's a device that allows users to kiss people anywhere in the world over the internet.
The device named "Remote Kiss" has moving silicon "lips" that allow users to "upload" their kisses as well as "receive" kisses from others via an app.
In order for it to work, the partner must pair their apps for them to start a video call and then transmit replicas of their kisses over the internet.
Reportedly, the device uses sensors to simulate the actual pressure, movement, and heat of a kisser's lips.

Jiang Zhongli, the leading inventor of the device, stated that Remote Kiss was inspired by his long-distance relationship with his girlfriend during his university days.
"In my university, I was in a long-distance relationship with my girlfriend, so we only communicated over the phone. That’s where the inspiration of this device originated," Zhongli explained.
The device reminds netizens of a device known as the "Kissinger," which went popular in 2016.
Users on social media have now reacted to the unusual creation. "I don’t understand (the device) but I’m utterly shocked," a user wrote. while another wrote, "China has introduced a remote kissing device you attach to the phone."
