Rs 500 for just 2 samosas? American shocked at unreasonable pricing of Indian snack at US restaurant
Hick's style of speaking surprised online users and many of them did want him to go back to India.

Digital Desk: Indians’ love for samosa does not need any special mention. The well-known crispy snack with potato fillings not only satisfies one's appetite but is also equally affordable. Many Indians can't resist having samosa and a hot cup of tea, whether it's from the street or at home. Now, Drew Hick, an American YouTuber who is fluent in Hindi and who enjoyed the snack during his time in India, is horrified by the high amount he had to pay for a samosa in a US restaurant.

The recent Instagram outburst by Hick about restaurant prices is funny. He states in the video "Two samosas in India cost 20 rupees. But here, for two samosas it is Rs 500. Chalo Bihar vapas chalte hai bai" (come, let's go back to Bihar, brother) he sadly adds as he flips the camera to reveal the menu with prices.

Hick's style of speaking surprised online users and many of them did want him to go back to India.

"Come back, Bihar brother," a user said. Drew then chimed up with a sweet "soon." A different user said, "Samosa k liye bus Bihar aa jao bhai." A user commented, "When I first saw the price of samosa in other nations, I lost my mind. Mai jab pahli baar dusre countries me samosa ka price dekha tha, mera bhi dimag ghum gaya tha dekh ke, sab jagah yahi haal hai, Japan Korea ho ya London America. The same applies whether you're in Japan, Korea, London, or America."

More than 65,000 people liked the video, and around 900 people commented.

Hick has done it before, though. He frequently posts updates about his life via Hindi-language Instagram clips. In a recent video, he can be heard talking to his wife about "kya yeh bhaiya famous ho gaya? Bollywood mei jaane waala hai?” about his popularity.

When he saw that his wife could speak Hindi with ease, a user asked, "Poori family ko hindi aati hai kya?"
