Digital Desk: Three sisters from Connecticut in the US were able to hear their father's heartbeat four years after their father's passing due to organ donation. A touching video of the siblings meeting the man who received their father's heart was shared on the Instagram page of The Today Show.

Kisandra Santiago, a 22-year-old from Meriden, Connecticut, decided to donate her father's heart after his passing in 2019, according to NBC News Connecticut. She believed that she and her siblings might be able to hear his heartbeat again in the future. Kisandra made it her goal to find the person who would receive her father's heart, and four years later, her dream came true.

Peter Turzer, who experienced repeated cardiac arrests after a car accident in 2016, required surgery to treat his injuries. Turzer surprisingly recovered after undergoing open heart surgery, going into a coma for a week, and having his life support almost terminated.

However, he eventually needed to have his limb amputated and qualified for a heart transplant due to further health issues. He received Esteban Santiago's heart in July 2019, which was a turning point in his own struggle for survival.

Social media users responded to the heartwarming story and shared their emotional statements. One Instagram user wrote, "This is beautiful. I admire their strength to find and meet him. I have received several letters requesting to meet me because I donated my son's organs per his request, and two people regained their sight, but my heart ached too much to meet them. I cannot see his eyes on someone else. Although I am happy for the regaining of their sight, it was just too hard on my heart."
