Digital Desk: Sawan or Shravana is a holy month in India for Lord Shiva worshippers since it commemorates the deity's Earth manifestation. Devotees adore and venerate Lord Shiva and associated symbols, such as the serpent, which is linked to the worship.

In recent weeks, social media platforms have been flooded with snake-related videos portraying these serpents in a variety of surprising situations, ranging from lurking within unsuspecting slippers to making sudden entrances in bathrooms. Among these viral videos, one jumps out for its incredible content: a snake spewing eggs.

The viral video provides an amazing glimpse into the natural world. In the video, a snake can be seen crawling around restlessly and apparently distressed. Its swollen stomach prompted concerns about its strange behaviours.

In response, a concerned individual gently applied pressure to the snake's bloated abdomen with a rod. The unexpected yet stunning event left spectators speechless: a sequence of five huge eggs appeared from the snake's mouth.

The strange situation, upon closer inspection, can be traced to the snake's natural feeding activity. The snake had eaten three eggs after mistaking them for prey. The eggs were significantly larger than the snake's body size, making digesting difficult.

Despite successfully swallowing the eggs, the snake's pain was visible through irregular movements. When witnesses saw the snake's agony, they responded with caution, using a mild method to relieve the serpent's discomfort.

The snake's struggles represent the difficulties that might occur when conventional practises collide with the modern world, and believers honour Lord Shiva and adore the serpent as a representation of divinity.

The video serves as a literal depiction of how nature and devotion are intertwined during the holy month of Sawan in addition to display the intricate beauty of wildlife behaviours.
