A letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making rounds on social media due to a heart-touching sketch. Two government employee parents are posted in different locations, daughters seeking PM Modi’s intervention to unite the family.
Digital Desk: Twin sisters Archita and Archana, living in Dausa district of Rajasthan, have written a touching letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both sisters have also sketched in the application letter written to the PM and have tried to express their pain through it. They say that both of their parents are in government jobs, but both are posted in different cities. Because of this, they are unable to live with them and miss their parents a lot.
Archita and Archana's father is AAO and their mother is a teacher. The parents had bought a flat in Jaipur a few years ago to live with their two daughters and provide them with a good education, but due to the transfer, all the family members started living separately. It became difficult for all four members to meet each other. Archit and Archana are now studying away from their parents, living with their aunt in Bandikui. Both are students of class seven.
The father of both the children works at Chauhtan, while the mother's job is at Samdari. Both of them also live 130 kilometres away from each other. In such a situation, it is difficult for Archita and Archana to meet their parents together. At this young age, when these children need the support of their parents, they are forced to stay away from them. For this reason, both the sisters have written an application to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting to transfer their parents to Jaipur.
The full version of the letter translated from Hindi (original) :
Archita and Archana wrote a letter to PM Modi. Both sisters wrote, "My name is Archita, and my sister's name is Archana. We are both 12 years old. We are students in Class 7 at Delhi Public School, Bandikui. We live with our uncle and aunt. Our father's name is Devpal Meena, and our mother's name is Hemlata Kumari Meena. Our father works as an Assistant Accountant in the Panchayat Samiti Chauhatan, and our mother is a teacher (Level-2, Subject-Hindi) at Government Senior Secondary School, Devda Block, Samdadi (Bilotra).
We miss our parents a lot, and without them, we don't feel like studying. We both wish that our parents transfer to Jaipur, Rajasthan, and we also want to stay with them in Jaipur and continue our education there. We both desire to be with our parents, and the idea of studying without them doesn't appeal to us. We want our parents to transfer to Jagatpura, Jaipur, and we want to live and study there with them.
We have heard and seen many of your campaigns, such as 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,' 'Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana,' etc., and we have been greatly inspired by them. We also want to shine a light on our parents and be with them. Please arrange for the transfer of our parents to Jagatpura, Jaipur. We would be extremely grateful to you."
The sisters have also sketched an image depicting their family's current living arrangement, illustrating how each member is residing separately and away from the original home. The letter from Archita and Archana is now going viral on social media.
