A woman named Lauren Brooke burned her wedding gown in honour of her divorce...
Digital Desk: In an odd turn of occasions, a US woman celebrated her divorce by setting fire to her wedding gown while posing for pictures. That really did happen. After being married for more than ten years, Lauren Brooke, 31, recently formalized her divorce. In September 2021, she and her spouse divorced after getting married in 2012. The divorce was formalized in January of this year.
"The goal was to demonstrate that divorce is difficult, ugly, and painful for all parties involved." There were times when I would wake up every morning crying. There were times when I wondered if my life would ever better, but it has. We're getting divorced, but we'll have to co-parent our children for the rest of our lives. I got through it and made it to the other side. I no longer cry when I get up in the morning. Lauren told the Mirror UK, "I'm in a better place."
A page named Pubity uploaded images from her "empowering" photoshoot on Instagram. Lauren can be seen wearing a bright red gown and shredding her wedding photograph. She was also observed setting ablaze her clothes.
Lauren enlisted the support of her mother, Felicia Bowman, a photographer. She also included her best buddy in the "empowering" photograph.
