London: Dominic Raab, Britain’s foreign secretary said no further license will be granted to Turkey for items which might be used in military operations in Syria. Meanwhile, Spain which is a major exporter to Turkey, also announced a suspension of sales of military equipments.
Turkey was asked by the Spain’s socialist government to put an end to the military operation being conducted in northeastern Syria. Further, Sweden also announced its suspension of military equipments exports.
On the other hand, Russia said that it is patrolling along the line of contact between Syria and Turkish forces. Syrian forces moved into the area of line of contact as a part of a deal that has seen regime troops deployed in Kurdish-controlled areas to protect from the assault from Turkish forces.
