Digital Desk: Three Army soldiers were killed on Friday after being hit by an avalanche in the Machhil sector of frontier Kupwara district in north Kashmir, officials said.
"Three jawans of the 56 RR were martyred in the line of duty in the Machhil area after they were caught in an avalanche," a police official said.
He stated that all of the bodies have been retrieved from the avalanche site.
The deceased have been identified as Souvik Hajra, Mukesh Kumar, and Gaikwad Manoj Laxman Rao.
