Indians celebrate the day as Republic Day as the nation declared itself a sovereign, democratic, and republic state with the adoption of the Constitution on January 26, 1950.
On the occasion, Bollywood celebrities extended their heartwarming wishes to their fans. Veteran actor fondly called Big B, Amitabh Bachchan took to X and wrote in Hindi, "Gantantrata diwas ki aapko shubhkamnae"(Best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Republic Day).
Sharing a picture of his patriotic film 'Fighter', the forever young actor Anil Kapoor posted an Instagram story and wrote, "Happy Republic Day."

India is celebrating its 76th Republic Day with the showcase of military prowess at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The parade started at 10:30 in the morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the parade along with 'Chief Guest' Mr. Prabowo Subianto, the President of Indonesia.
