76th Republic Day: Bollywood Celebrities Extend Heartfelt Wishes To The Nation

Digital Desk: As India is celebrating its 76th Republic Day on Sunday, Bollywood celebrities have extended their heartfelt messages to their fellow Indians through various social media platforms. Indians celebrate the day as Republic Day as the nation declared itself a sovereign, democratic, and republic state with the adoption of the Constitution on January 26, 1950.

On the occasion, Bollywood celebrities extended their heartwarming wishes to their fans. Veteran actor fondly called Big B, Amitabh Bachchan took to X and wrote in Hindi, "Gantantrata diwas ki aapko shubhkamnae"(Best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Republic Day).

Sharing a picture of his patriotic film 'Fighter', the forever young actor Anil Kapoor posted an Instagram story and wrote, "Happy Republic Day."

Sharing a picture with the tricolor on Instagram, Shilpa Shetty wrote, "Happy Republic Day."

Donning a hoodie of 'Fateh' and holding the tricolor, Sonu Sood extended his wishes to the nation. The actor was seen standing with BSF soldiers.

Taking to X, 'Sky Force' actor Akshay Kumar wrote, "Freedom is not only our right, it is also our responsibility. We're free today because of the sacrifice of yesterday. Let's honor this freedom by our actions and take India to greater heights. Happy Republic Day."

Priyanka Chopra also posted a video on X to wish every Indian on the occasion.

Accompanied by his elder son Rajveer Deol, Sunny Deol posted a photo with a group of children holding the national flag to wish his fans well.

Sharman Joshi posted a photo of his 19-year-old film 'Rang De Basanti' to wish his fellow Indians.

India is celebrating its 76th Republic Day with the showcase of military prowess at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The parade started at 10:30 in the morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the parade along with 'Chief Guest' Mr. Prabowo Subianto, the President of Indonesia.
