'Merry Christmas' marks the first time that Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif will be seen together on screen.
Digital Desk: Merry Christmas, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, has seen its third change in release date. The film was first scheduled to be released on December 23. Later, the date was changed to December 15. On the same day, Sidharth Malhotra's movie "Yodha" is also scheduled for release in theatres. The release date for "Merry Christmas" has once again been changed and it was revealed today, October 3. It will be released in theatres one week early.

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer ‘Merry Christmas’ has now got a new release date. It will hit theatres on December 8. Trade analyst shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "KATRINA KAIF - VIJAY SETHUPATHI: ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS’ TO ARRIVE ONE WEEK EARLY. 8 Dec 2023 is the new release date of #MerryChristmas, which teams #KatrinaKaif and #VijaySethupathi for the first time. #MerryChristmas - directed by #SriramRaghavan - is shot in two languages [#Hindi and #Tamil] with different supporting actors (sic)."

'Merry Christmas' marks the first time that Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif will be seen together on screen. 'Andhadhun' and 'Badlapur' director Sriram Raghavan is directing it. The film was shot in two languages, and many supporting actors were used. It is also the first Tamil film featuring Sriram Raghavan and Katrina Kaif.
In the Tamil version, the same parts are played by Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams as they are in the Hindi version, which also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand. Additionally, the movie showcases Pari, a young actor. There will be intriguing cameo appearances from Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar.
