Researchers recently confirmed that this strawberry is the world's heaviest - it weighed 289 grams (299 grams with the stem) and was 18 cm long, 4 cm thick, and 34 cm in circumference.
GWR's official website indicates this strawberry is of the variety Ilan, grown by Ariel's "Strawberries in the Field" family business. Also on Instagram, GWR shared a video showing how it was determined to be the world's heaviest strawberry.
One such person from Israel took his love for farming a step ahead. Ariel Chahi from Kadima-Zoran, Israel, recently grew a gigantic strawberry that weighed almost 300 grams. That's not all. The Guinness World Records (GWR) has claimed the Strawberry to be the world's biggest and heaviest strawberry.
