These rights have to be protected regardless of the subject’s gender, nationality, ethnicity, color, or faith. It is a day to assess global progress and redouble efforts to prevent violations and uphold human rights globally. It is also a plea for action for governments, institutions, and people to be aware of equality justice and human dignity.
The born-in-1948 UDHR is one of the key pillars of the protection of human rights around the world today.
