    Farmers will vacate Ghazipur by December 15: Rakesh Tikait

    New Delhi: After the Friday meeting, farmers' unions have decided to vacate their agitation site. Centre had lately sent a letter to the farmers stating Centre is ready to fulfill all the demands raised by the protesting farmers.





    On Saturday, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait stated that farmers would entirely vacate their agitation Ghazipur border in Delhi by December 15. 





    The first group of farmers left for Uttarkhand and Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

    BKU leader Rakesh Tikait stated that the government has withdrawn its controversial agriculture laws and agreed to accept additional demands raised by farmers.





    Tikait further stated that a large portion of the Ghazipur border would be vacated on Sunday. However, the site will be completely vacated by December 15.





    Meanwhile, the repeal of farm laws brought a feeling of satisfaction and triumphed among farmers. They celebrated the repeal of the farm laws by distributing sweets.
