discussion on the current situation in Manipur on Monday, shortly after his
returning from his two-nation (US and Egypt) tour.

Minister Amit Shah updated PM Modi on the events in Manipur.
According to sources,
prominent cabinet ministers including Nirmala Sitharaman and Hardeep Puri, as
well as Union Home Minister Shah, attended the meeting presided over by PM
Modi. They further stated that senior officials from the Union Ministry of Home
Affairs (MHA) and intelligence agencies were there.

Minister N Biren Singh met with Shah on Sunday. During this time, Singh stated that
the situation in the state is currently under control and that it will improve
shortly.
