    Digital Desk: Around 12 persons died from heat stroke in different parts of Bihar, including two Special Armed Police (SAP) jawans, as temperatures reached 45 degrees Celsius in certain places in the last 24 hours. 


    The official total has yet to be confirmed by Disaster Management Department authorities, who are currently gathering information on the deaths caused by the region's high heat. 


    Six individuals died at Rohtas, and one in each of Nalanda, Jamui, Gaya, and Patna. 


    Officials have been working with all district control rooms to gather information about the deaths caused by heat stroke. 


    Furthermore, the Patna District Magistrate has ordered that all educational institutions up to and including Class 12 be closed until June 24.


    Additionally, the Patna Meteorological Centre has declared a "severe" heat wave in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, West Champaran, Rohtas, East Champaran, Sheikhpura, Jamui, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Aurangabad, Khagaria, Banka, Nawada, Nalanda, Siwan, and Samastipur.
