After a video purportedly showing mosambi juice inside of a blood pack went viral on social media, the incident came to light. The hospital was reportedly shut down after the 32-year-old dengue patient passed away while receiving treatment.
A three-person inquiry team was formed by the district magistrate to look into the claim's veracity after the video surfaced online. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and Deputy CMO made up the committee.

The patient, Pradeep Pandey, who had dengue, was not properly cared for and the hospital staff engaged in medical negligence, according to the committee's report to the DM. poorly preserved platelets were given to him.

The CMO will take action against the hospital as a result of the preliminary investigation's discovery of its negligence.
The hospital had also received a warning from the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA), which asked for a reply by October 28.
Family says, no justice yet
The patient's family has also charged the hospital management with failing to act quickly. The hospital staff only took samples to investigate on October 21 — the last day before the sample expired, according to the patient's family — even though the patient passed away on October 19.
The family has added that no action has been taken and they still haven't received justice in the situation, despite the deputy chief minister of the state addressing the incident.
It may be mentioned that so far, no arrest has been in the matter.
