According to the government, 1682390 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the previous 24 hours out of the 2021766615 crore doses that have been given nationwide thus far.

has reported 16,866 new COVID-19 cases, according to information sent to the
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday.
On
Sunday, 20,279 new illnesses were reported across the country.
There
have been 41 reported fatalities throughout the course of the last 24 hours,
18,148 recoveries.
Currently
open cases in India total 1,50,877. It presently has a 7.03 percent daily
positive rate.
According
to the government, 1682390 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the
previous 24 hours out of the 2021766615 crore doses that have been given
nationwide thus far.
The
COVID-19 vaccination programme is being expanded and scaled up by the central
government countrywide. The countrywide COVID-19 vaccination programme kicked
off on January 16, 2021.
The second
stage of the COVID-19 vaccination programme began on June 21, 2021. The
immunisation campaign has grown as a result of the availability of more
vaccinations, early communication of vaccine availability to States and UTs
enabling better planning by them, and streamlining the vaccine supply chain.
As
part of the nationwide immunisation campaign, the Government of India has been
helping the States and UTs by providing them with free COVID vaccinations.
As
part of the new phase of the COVID-19 immunisation drive, the Union Government
would purchase and supply (free of charge) to States and UTs 75% of the
vaccinations being produced by the nation's vaccine manufacturers. (ANI)
