the northwest Bay of Bengal. It also entered northeastern parts of India. Heavy
rains are predicted over Assam and Meghalaya for two to three days.

bulletin said, "Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some parts of
the northwest Bay of Bengal, some more parts of the northeast &
east-central Bay of Bengal and most parts of Mizoram, Manipur & Nagaland."
color:#0E101A">Meanwhile, the Southwest monsoon will further forge ahead into
some more parts of the central and North Bay of Bengal. The IMD said,
"Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest monsoon into
some more parts of Central & North Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of
northeastern states and some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim
during next 2 days."

rainfall with isolated heavy falls is very likely over northeast India and
Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next five days. The monsoon is
expected to outreach Goa by Friday or Saturday.

and Meghalaya until June 4 and over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from
June 3 to 6. Isolated extremely heavy falls are also expected over Meghalaya on

Sea over south peninsular India, fairly extensive to light or moderate rainfall
with thunderstorms or lightning is very likely to occur over coastal Karnataka,
South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep. Isolated to scattered
rain is predicted over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka,
Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next five days.

two degrees Celsius over most parts of northwest India during the next two
days, and after that, fall by two to three degrees Celsius. The weather agency
predicted heatwave conditions in isolated places over Rajasthan on June 3.
Similar conditions are also expected over south Punjab, south Haryana, south
Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Pradesh on June 3 and 4 and over Vidarbha until
Sunday.
