Digital Desk: BJP leader and former Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has made strong allegations against the Congress government in Rajasthan, claiming that radical elements with a "pro-Pakistan" mindset have prospered during their five-year rule. Patel expressed confidence that the upcoming assembly polls in Rajasthan would see his party emerge victorious.

The Election Commission of India announced on October 9 that assembly polls in Rajasthan would take place on November 23, with votes being counted on December 3.

Speaking to reporters at his residence in Ahmedabad following the announcement of poll dates, Patel claimed that the people of Rajasthan were tired of the Congress and eager to remove its government.

"Anti-social and radical elements with a pro-Pakistan mindset have not only thrived but have also received government protection during the five-year rule of Congress in Rajasthan," Patel claimed. He further asserted that this situation had led to a collapse in law and order, rampant corruption, and an increase in crimes against women. Patel also pointed out the daily incidents of eve-teasing as a concerning issue.

Patel emphasized the BJP's commitment to forming the next government in Rajasthan after the elections. He also raised the tragic case of Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor from Udaipur who was brutally murdered by two men last year.

"Under the Congress government, people cannot even celebrate their festivals in a peaceful manner. The people of Rajasthan have not forgotten how Kanhaiya Lal, an innocent man, was killed by terrorist elements. They are now eager to remove such a government, and I am confident that they will choose the BJP this time," Patel stated.

The upcoming assembly polls in Rajasthan are expected to be closely watched as political parties gear up for a fierce battle in the state.
