AAP's "ABCD" alcohol policy is explained by the BJP as "A for advertising, B for bahane baazi"

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should look into the AAP regime's excise policy 2021–2022, according to Delhi L-G Saxena, who recommended it on Friday. 

Digital Desk: The BJP claimed on
Sunday that Arvind Kejriwal's approach to alcohol is best described by the
acronym "ABCD," where "A" stands for advertising,
"B" for "bahane baazi" (making excuses) and "blame
game," "C" for "corruption and cover-up," and
"D" for deviation or diversion. The BJP and the AAP are at odds over
the Delhi alcohol policy.

The
claims were made by BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla earlier in the day at a
press conference held at the Delhi headquarters of the party. He continued by
saying that Kejriwal has replaced the "happy classrooms" paradigm of
his government with "happiness glasses."

"This strategy came to light
after Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena requested a CBI investigation. While
Kejriwal's objective is to offer alcohol to every home, our policy is to
provide tap water to every household, Poonawalla said at the press conference,
according to news agency PTI. The party spokesperson claimed that despite
saying otherwise, the AAP government has given the "liquor mafia" a
"144 crore waiver" and is now working overtime to make residents of
Punjab and Delhi-both of which are under the control of the AAP- into addicts.

errors in the policy's implementation that he believed were intended to benefit
private liquor barons and people in high positions in the government.

Notably,
the Kejriwal administration declared that the new alcohol regulation would end
abuses and improve user experience when it was enacted in November of last
year.

However,
Kejriwal has disproved every accusation, calling them "baseless" and
untrue. He also claimed that Manish Sisodia, the excise department's director
and Delhi's deputy chief minister, would be detained. I have been predicting
that Manish Sisodia will be taken into custody. In India, there is a new
system. They choose who needs to go to jail, and then they fabricate a case
against that individual. This is a false case. It is untrue, "he declared
on Friday."

Sisodia
is an "honest politician," he continued, and the AAP "is not
afraid of jail."

Later, in response to Kejriwal's
comments, officials in the L-office G's said that Sisodia, acting with the full
political support of the Delhi CM, made choices about the new excise policy
without consulting the Cabinet.
