Digital Desk: The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has invited qualified applicants to apply online for the position of Excise Constable in the Excise Department of Assam.
Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the positions on slprbassam.in beginning January 10, 2023.
The filing last date for excise constable posts is February 8, 2023. Candidates should keep in mind that no changes may be made to their entries after they have been submitted during the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Preliminary Medical Check-up (PET).
The recruitment process is intended to fill 222 positions.
Criteria for Eligibility
Age limit: 18 to 30 years old as of July 1, 2022. Candidates from the reserved category are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation.
H.S.L.C. or equivalent from a government-recognized board or council is required.
The Selection Procedure
Candidates whose applications are judged to be complete in every way will be invited to take Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) (PET). The date(s) and location(s) of the tests will be announced in due course.
SLPRB hopes to fill 222 openings in the organisation through this recruitment drive. There are 65 positions for female applicants and 157 for male candidates.
As on 1 July 2022, the minimum age requirement is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 30 years. However, candidates from the reserved category are eligible for an age relaxation.
In addition to the age requirement, candidates must have passed the Assam High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) or its equivalent from a recognised Board or Council.
