Digital Desk: Union Minister for Road Transport and
Highways Nitin Gadkari on Monday inaugurated the 4-Lane Section between Nagaon
Bypass-Teliagaon, and Teliagaon-Rangagara and laid the foundation for Mangaldai
Bypass and the 4-lane section between Daboka-Parakhuwa in Assam, in the
presence of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, MP Dilip Saikia, MP Pradyut
Bordoloi, and State Minister of Forest & Environment Chandra Mohan Patowary
through video conferencing.
These
four projects total 1450 crores, representing a considerable investment in the
state's infrastructure.
The
18-kilometer-long 4-lane segment between Nagaon Bypass and Teliagaon-Rangagara
is valued at Rs 403 crore. This enlarged route improves access between North
and Upper Assam, boosting economic growth and creating new prospects.

of a 13-kilometer-long bypass on NH-29 between Daboka and Parakhuwa at a cost
of 517 crores increases connectivity along the Guwahati-Dimapur Economic
Corridor, encouraging links to Myanmar and Thailand. The bypass will improve
connection between Assam and Nagaland.
