Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday night confirmed that the High School Leaving Certificate (Matric) Results 2025 will not be declared on Thursday, April 10. This puts speculations to rest as several sources claimed on social media platforms that the result could be declared on Thursday.
According to reports, the result drafting process is underway and will be announced sometime later this month after it receives approval from the Assam Government.
After receiving the final nod from the authorities, the results will be announced on the official websites of the ASSEB.
Refuting the fake news, CM Sarma posted on X, "I would like to inform all parents and students that the HSLC examination results will not be released tomorrow. Once the results are ready, the board will announce them promptly. Please remain patient."
He requested all the parents and students to remain patient as a fake tweet falsely claimed that the results would be announced on April 10.

A total of 4.30 lakh students appeared for the HSLC exams this year. The exams were held between February 15 and March 3, 2025. The appeared students can also download digital copies of the mark sheets from the website for immediate use.
Students need to log in using their roll numbers and other credentials to access their results from the websites.
