The Police Force seized 78 grams of drugs, suspected to be Heroin.
Digital Desk: In an ongoing investigation, the Jalukbari Police Station and Crime Branch led an operation to bust illegal drug activities. The team arrested a 27-year-old individual Nasiruddin, a resident of Bilasipara possessing narcotics and other items.
The Police Force seized 78 grams of drugs, suspected to be Heroin in two soap cases from Nasiruddin, that were used for illegal distribution. Other than the heroin the team also seized a mobile phone, a two-wheeler vehicle (scooty), and a sum worth INR 8900 in cash.
Reportedly, the items that were being discovered were part of a local drug distribution network. The authorities are planning to trace the actual root behind these distributions. The authority has initiated legal action as the items seized are under observation.
