To Celebrate The Winning Of President's Colour Award Assam Police happens to be
only the 10th State Police force in the country to have been conferred with the
prestigious President’s Colour Award.

officers launched the 'Ride of Pride' bike event to commemorate the prestigious
President's Color Award.

cross the full periphery of Assam. The 'Ride of Pride' would span eight days
and cover a total distance of 2055 kilometres over 27 districts across the
state.

tenth state police department to receive the prestigious President's Colour
Award. On May 10, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will present the Assam Police
with the Presidents' Colour Award at a ceremony in Guwahati. The President's
Colour Award is the highest award that any Indian military unit can get.

emblem that will be worn on the left sleeve of all unit officers' uniforms.

programme from tomorrow onwards to commemorate this historic milestone,"
the Assam DGP stated. Assam's Director General of Police, Bhaskar Jyoti
Mahanta, used his official Twitter account to commemorate the anniversary.
