This isn't the first time a video showing an elephant eating food has gone viral on social media. Supriya Sahu, an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, shared a video on Twitter about a month ago showing an elephant trying to pick a jackfruit from a tree to satisfy its hunger. To get to the fruit, the elephant leaves no stone untouched.
The IFS officer mentioned that elephants enjoy jackfruit while sharing the footage. "Jackfruit is to Elephants what Mangoes are to humans.. and the clapping by humans at this dedicated elephant's successful endeavour to get to Jackfruits is really sweet," she wrote.
