A video of KL Rahul, the vice-captain of Team India, squaring off against Jhulan Goswami in the nets of Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy is going viral on social media.

Digital Desk: KL Rahul, who had surgery in Germany for a sports hernia, has begun training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

A video of Team India vice-captain Rahul Dravid facing Jhulan Goswami in the nets of Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy is going viral on social media. 

Jhulan Goswami, like Rahul, is attempting to make a comeback to the Indian team after being dropped for the recently concluded Sri Lanka tour.

Rahul can be seen in the video clip dealing with two deliveries from Goswami. The first was longer on the stumps, while the second was shorter outside the off stump.

Rahul led the new Lucknow Super Giants to the IPL 2022 playoffs, finishing as the competition's second-highest run-getter with 616 runs in 15 innings at an average of 51.33 and a strike rate of 135.38.

He was left out of the squad a day before the T20I series against South Africa, citing "a right groyne injury," according to the BCCI. 

After regular captains Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah rested for the series, Rahul was named the team captain. After Rahul withdrew, Rishabh Pant was named captain as the series ended 2-2, with the final match ending in a no-result.
