Musk has stated that he does not want to be CEO of any company, including Twitter or Tesla. Musk is apparently looking for a new CEO for Twitter. One of the prospective names, Jack Dorsey, has denied the allegations.
Tesla board member James Murdoch has made it clear that Musk is rumoured to be considering leaving his position as the company's CEO. Although he testified in court, he withheld the successor's name. When questioned if Musk had selected the CEO for Tesla, he admitted that Musk had made the decision over the previous few months.
Some Tesla investors are worried about Musk's ability to fully focus on his job as CEO of Twitter, according to a Reuters story. His whole attention has been directed towards the micro-blogging platform since he took control of Twitter. Even though he referred to it as "temporary" and "after hours," Musk forced certain Tesla engineers to work for Twitter.
As he does not want to be the CEO of any of his companies, Musk is now looking for a new CEO for Twitter. "At SpaceX, I'm basically in charge of the engineering of the rockets, and Tesla is in charge of the technology that makes the automobile successful.

Musk stated in an email to his staff that in order to construct Twitter 2.0, the employees must put in a lot of effort. Employees would be required to work lengthy hours at "high intensity."
