Digital Desk: Authorities in Gaya, Bihar, were perplexed when they got a strange application for a caste certificate.
In Bihar, a dog by the name of "Tommy" requested a caste certificate. If that is not enough to make you roll your eyes, Tommy also has its own Aadhaar card.
Tommy's caste certificate application was submitted electronically to the Guraru Zonal office.
There was a dog image on the Aadhaar card. Sheru, Tommy's father, and Ginni, his mother, were both mentioned. Tommy's birthdate was listed on his Aadhaar card as April 14, 2022. The village Pandepokhar, Panchayat Rauna, ward number 13, circle Guraru, and police station Konch were listed as the addresses.
The Aadhaar card also reads, "Aadhaar - aam kutta ka adhikaar."
A photo of Tommy's Aadhar card has gone viral on social media.
Sanjeev Kumar Trivedi, Circle Officer of Guraru Block, stated that the phone number mentioned on the application shows the name of some Raja Babu on Truecaller.
The application was denied by officials, and police are investigating the incident to find the perpetrator.
