Muhammad Idris transferred Rs 2,000 from his Kotak Mahindra bank account to a friend on Friday. He made the decision to check his account balance following this transaction.

Idris reported the issue to the bank as he was concerned about this unusual occurrence, which subsequently froze his account.
However, this is the third such incident reported in the state.
Earlier, a cab driver named Rajkumar from Chennai discovered that his Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank account had a balance of Rs 9,000 crore.
After raising the issue, the extra money was withdrawn once the Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank rectified the issue.
