The installation of the colossal beam, known as the bow arch string girder, symbolises a momentous occasion in Mumbai's journey towards enhanced connectivity and accessibility. Under the leadership of Commissioner Bhushan Gagarani, the BMC showcased its unwavering dedication to improving the city's infrastructure landscape.

The newly installed beam, spanning from Worli to Nariman Point, embodies sheer engineering prowess, weighing two thousand metric tons and stretching 136 meters in length and 18 to 21 meters in width.
