    Digital Desk: What should a covid infected person eat during self-quarantine? What he/she should not.

    Here are the complete food and nutrition tips forwarded by the World Health Organisation in view of the rapid increase in the covid infected cases across the globe.

    The superintendent of GMCH Dr. Abhijit Sharma advises to intake  180 grams of rice and meat, and also asks not to overbake or cook vegetables.

    Covid infected patients and other people must drink 8-10 glasses of water daily and must add coffee to their diet schedule.

    The WHO also suggests eating healthy fats which include fish oil, fish, white meat, etc.

    The covid patients must avoid butter, cream, oily food, etc.

    Also, red meat must be avoided.

    Recently, the number of covid patients with no symptoms shown has been on the rise.

    The WHO released recent covid symptoms details like Vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, and body ache.

    According to an official statement by GMCH, there are 320 covid patients admitted at present, 73 patients at Sarusajai covid care center, and 166 covid patients at covid ward.

    Most of the covid related deaths are cases of comorbidities.
