Toyota announced the inauguration of its first regional stockyard in north India
Toyota provides the Glanza, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Hilux, Fortuner, Legender, Camry, and Vellfire among some of the variants...

Digital Desk: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced the opening of its first regional stockyard in north India on Thursday, December 15. Farukhnagar, Haryana, is the location of the new factory.

The new "strategically positioned" stockyard, according to the business, will shorten the delivery time from six to eight days to a maximum of two days for dealers in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir.

In 2020, the automaker opened its first regional stockyard in Guwahati, Assam. The new Farukhnagar stockyard is five acres wide and has a parking capacity of 900 vehicles.

According to TKM, the new Farukhnagar stockyard will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by maximising rail travels from the production plant to the stockyard. Currently, trains carry 60% of total TKM despatches, with the business seeking to increase that to 80%. TKM also plans to supply 5,000 units every month to the new Farukhnagar stockyard.

"We are thrilled to announce the official opening of our first regional stockyard in Haryana. The northern region of India is a very significant market for us, and our strategic location in Faruknagar will allow us to easily cater to the client base in this market while maintaining our customer-first approach " said a TKM official.

"Toyota, as a pioneer in green mobility solutions, is paving the road for a better tomorrow and has always prioritised ecologically friendly solutions in everything we do, from material sourcing to production to sales and services. By being close to our customers via the regional stockyard, we are able to not only cut transit costs but also considerably reduce carbon dioxide emissions through reduced logistics "He continued.

TKM just launched the Innova Hycross. The vehicle can be reserved for Rs 50,000 through TKM's official website or through the company's authorised dealerships.

The Toyota Innova Hycross offers two engine options: a 2.0-litre VVTi petrol engine and a 2.0-litre VVTi petrol engine with a self-charging powerful hybrid electric system. The claimed Innova Hycross mileage for the powerful hybrid unit is 21.1kmpl. TKM has not revealed the mileage estimates for the Innova Hycross fuel.

TKM also manufactures the Glanza, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hilux, Fortuner, Legender, Camry, and Vellfire.
